Shipping & Returns

 

How much is shipping? Do you ship to islands or outside of Athens?

While placing your order, you have the option to select the type of delivery you like. If the delivery address is in Athens, you may have direct delivery to your place. You may also select the option of self pickup from our warehouse in Metamorfosi at your own expense.  

For all areas except Athens, you may either select self pickup from our warehouse or delivery through an agency of your choice. In this case, Blueground for Home handles the transfer to the agency located in Athens for free. However, the cost of transfer from the agency to your place is agreed and paid by you directly to the agency. In this case, please enter the delivery address of your agency. Please keep in mind that we provide free shipping for all products to the delivery address you enter.

Orders are generally processed within five business days unless otherwise noted on the individual product page. Shipping times vary depending on your shipping address but your order should arrive within 14-21 business days. Please note that fulfillment partners generally do not deliver on weekends and holidays.

Once your order is processed and prepared for shipment, you will receive an email with the order and delivery details. If you have any questions or issues, please email us at furniture-sales@theblueground.com and include your order number. Note that it may take a few hours to receive the delivery information, but rest assured that the package is on its way!

 

What is your return policy?

We want you to love your purchase! If for whatever reason, you are unhappy with your purchase, you may initiate a return within 14 calendar days of receiving your shipment. 

Please check whether your product is eligible for a return before your purchase. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on textiles, rugs, bedding, decorative items and kitchenware products for hygienic reasons, unless there is a product defect.  

Note that all returned items must be undamaged, contain all original tags, and be in saleable condition in order to be eligible for a refund. Returns can only be made in the original packaging.

We offer flexible returns and will refund the amount paid minus a return shipping fee, once your order arrives back at our facility and is inspected. Please keep in mind that we collect the products only in Athens. You will be notified by email about the cost of collection, i.e. return shipping fee if you want us to arrange the return of the goods. Any location outside Athens, you may return using a carrier or transport company of your choice at your own expense or bring it back to our warehouse on your own.

To begin the return process, 

  • Please email pictures of your item to furniture-sales@theblueground.com
  • Upon confirmation, we will send you an email and provide the return shipping address and further instructions. 
  • In the case of heavy & bulky items, we’ll coordinate a day and time that works to pick up your returned item from your location only if your location is within Athens. We will work with our logistics partners to give you a quote on the return shipment fee. For the rest of the items, you may ship the items using the carrier of your choice at your own expense or bring them back to our warehouse on your own. 
  • If your location is outside of Athens, you should ship the goods to our warehouse using a carrier or a transport company of your own choice and at your own expense. You may also bring it back to our warehouse on your own. Please email us at furniture-sales@theblueground.com to schedule a date and time for drop off. 
  • Please keep in mind that you will be eligible for a refund after the returned item reaches our warehouse and is confirmed by us that it is in saleable condition. 

Return eligibility is determined at the discretion of Blueground.
